Tiscali - moving problems

Hi,
This is my first post, I hope people can help as I'm at a loss what to do!
I joined Tiscali in December on a 12 month contract with line rental and broadband. I'm living in rented accomodation and asked at the time if I moved within this time limit would it be a problem to move the contract and was told "not at all"
However...now I am moving, not only have they said they cant move the line rental and I will need to sign up to BT in the new place, they can move the broadband only when the new Bt line is open. But also they cannot keep the line "open" in my rented accomodation so I will in effect have to either get BT to "take the line back" (for which BT will charge a 12 month contract!" or pay the re-connection fee for the new tenants.
So all in all I miss out in all ways! And have been on the phone with tiscali and BT for hours trying to sort this out..even more money gone..
My first reaction is to pay up the remainder of the Tiscali contract and start afresh with another company in the new property. But then I'm annoyed they said it was easy and its anything but and costing me a fortune!
Has anyone had any similar issues?!
Thanks
