Hi everyone, I've just had a real bargain in Tesco's they have on offer a box of 20 quantum powerball tablets normal price £6.60, half price for just £3.30, some packs though are special offer packs with 100% extra free, but if you buy a bottle of rinse aid first it is on special for £2.50 and comes with a voucher round neck bottle for £3 off the tablets. so

1 bottle of rinse aid £2.50
1 box of tablets with extra free 30p after Money off coupon so total spend £2.80
for 40 tablets and bottle of rinse aid.

Official MoneySavingExpert.com Insert:

This is a great spot from miss-piggin. Put simply at Tesco, you can get 40 dishwasher tablets and a bottle of Rinse aid for £2.80.
  • 20 Finish 'Quantum Powerball' dishwasher tablets are reduced from £6.60 to £3.30.
  • A bottle of rinse aid costs £2.50, but has a voucher for £3 off the Quantum Powerball tablets.
  • So, buy the rinse aid FIRST, then use the voucher when buying the tablets, and you get the whole lot for £2.80.

I've just got some from my local tesco - they were priced up as £6.61 on the shelf but scanned at £3.30 but i think the rinseaid was still normal price. I was able to put the rinse aid through first the till operator then removed the voucher and knocked it off at the end. well pleased as I've just about run out

I had a fun time with the SA not wanting to let me use the voucher, stating the box of tables were 40 and not 20. Could not get it into her head that the box was 20, with another 20 free and it was not my fault Finish had 2 promotions on at the same time

Don't think she liked me buying 40 dishwasher tables for 30p

I asked to speak to a supervisor who agreed with the SA

I then asked to speak to a Manager, who would not make a decision, but kind of seemed to be agreeing with the SA and Supervisor, but suggseted they get the overall Night Manager.

Spoke to the Night Manager and he agreed with me! Result :)

Good job it was 6.30 am in the morning in an empty shop.... :rotfl::rotfl:

£100 saved and dishwasher tables for the next year (and the year after, as I had already got this years on the Fairy deal)
I want to be credit card and loan free by Christmas 2010
