Just re-read this, your buyer doesn't appear to be in a position to exchange, they haven't taken cleared funds into their solicitor to allow for the exchange of contracts. Bearing in mid that this can take 5 working days and we have two bank holidays coming up. Get your solicitor to check with theirs as to when their funds will clear, before you make too many plans for moving.0

Exchange could still take place with a nil deposit or deposit "held to order" though...0

Because some people that go with a 100% mortgage won't have a deposit.It's not easy having a good time. Even smiling makes my face ache.0 -
Wicked kitten, in this case the buyer has a deposit, which has been paid to his solicitor, who is waiting for the funds to clear.
If a buyer has a 100% mortgage, the chain still has to agree to exchange with nil deposit.0 -
Exchanged contracts yesterday and moving next thursday like we wanted.
