Where can I get an Ikea discontinued item?

LACK Shelving unit in OAK

Its the same as the link above, but in Oak.

I have one (for my cookery books), but I should have bought another & now I want another they have stopped that colour.

Have been watching ebay, there was one lately but it was the other end of the country & couriers wanted £70+

Any ideas?

Sorry, you were right - the one I found was a shelf
I tried as few words as poss in case they put more in the description (such as the colour) than the title, so it brings up all possibilities.
Have had another thought though... have you ever heard of freecycle?? Basically instead of putting things in landfills people offer things they no longer want/ need when they can be re-used. You could put a 'wanted' on that. I know there are other sites too that do the same thing but I've only ever seen Freecycle. I will warn you though you get bombarded with a load of rubbish, but may be worth a shot to see if anyone around you has a decent one they no longer need!

You can get eBay to e-mail you every time an item with the correct description comes up for sale. I think you have to save the search.

Just keep waiting. Keep your search terms wide - it would be better to trawl through lists each day and find it than wait for something quite specific like "Ikea Lack shelving unit" and it will come up eventually.

Or even have a few different search terms as a catch all.

Is that one in Liverpool the exact one you are after? Where are you?

When I sent DH to get it (on his way home from work) it was about £10 cheaper than I told him it was, I should have guessed them.
Surprised they got rid of such a popular colour.
