I have an aromatherapy oil burner in my kitchen and always put this on when I'm cooking, you can also put a few drops of aromatherapy oils directly onto the tops of warm radiators (the heat helps distribute the aroma). We cook lots of curries, chillies etc and the oils seem to help.

I love the smell of a good curry. It wouldnt bother me;) LOL
Sometimes my 'cheat's' housework is lighting a vanilla candle (ikea ones really smell nice) in the kitchen, some body shop mint cream oil in a burner in my front room and a couple of scented candles in the other front room.
