Cant find Colmans Swedish Meatball sauce, discontinued?

Just a quickie to see if anybody has seen the Colmans Swedish Meatball suace packet mix in their wanderings. Disappeared from Tesco, Asda and Sainsburys. Cant see in Co op or Waitrose.

Any idea if its been discontinued - its the only one my lot will eat!

I think it may be discontinued or at least soon to be as my mum bought me a selection of cheap sachets from home bargains including one of these ones, i have noticed they sometimes stock discontinued food products.

Thanks for that although haven't got one of these stores anywhere near sussex. Will keep an eye out in the cheapie shops.

The only place I've ever seen it was the food shop bit in Ikea, but that was a few years ago

i bought a few of these a few weeks back from tesco they were reduced to 9p so i'm guessing they have gone?? the best meatball gravy is from ikea.

I make my own sauce for the meatballs, which is sooooo easy, and yummy too.

1/2 pint beef stock (I use 1 oxo cube in boiling water)
1/4 pint double cream
a level tbsp flour

Instructions:
Gradually incorporate stock into flour whisking constantly so it doesn't go lumpy. Bring to the boil to thicken. Stir in cream and heat through.

Season with a little salt and pepper to taste.

The stuff from Ikea makes an excellent peppercorn sauce for steak if you grind a load of black pepper into it!

Ikea still sell the meatball sauce, I bought some at the weekend (OH is addicted to it ...) I think it's about 54p a packet, but I could be wrong. It's not that dear though.

A number of the Colman's Dry packet sauces have been discontinued and some new varities will be coming out in the coming weeks
