Card with a decent limit

What cards generally give decent credit limits?

I currently have;
  • Virgin (£4500 limit - £4300 balance)
  • Capital One (£200 limit - £0 balance)
  • Capital One (£2000 limit - £0 balance)
  • BarclayCard (£2250 limit - £0 balance)
  • FlyBe (£2000 limit - £800 balance)
I plan on closing the 2 Capital One cards and the BarclayCard and would like a card that generally offers decent limits and BT rates to get my Virgin balance moved before they hike my rate up which they seem to be doing to a lot of others.

Intersting that most seem to give me a limit around £2k other than Virgin/MBNA :rolleyes:

    Unless you earn lots of money and have a sqeaky clean credit file you're unlikely to get much above that - don't forget the 'climate' we're in. What limit are you looking for?
    If you will the end, you must will the means.

    Point taken. I was looking for enough to BT the Virgin to another card.

    I would do this ASAP. Both are terribly, terribly slow. They could win prizes at it :rolleyes:

    Do cap one allow this still?as I have a visa card with them and a £500 limit - my credit can't be that bad as I have a couple of mainstream cards.

    13 months at 0% is currently available to new customers from Halifax on balance transfers made in the first 90 days. There's a 3% BT fee.
    IME, and from feedback here, credit limits are generous and the minimum monthly payment is just 1% of the balance shifted ;)

    Don't know if they allow it now but I took out the second (Visa) card in Feb 2008.
