when to pay the full balance?

Hi,
Having a bit of a bone moment here. My Tesco CC 0% on purchases ends on 6th May. In order to avoid any interest charges, should I pay off what I owe them on/before that date, or can I just pay the balance in full on the next payment date after the 6th May and still avoid any interest charges?
I suppose I am wondering when I should start to pay the full balance on my account without incurring charges. And when should I ask them to amend the direct debit to pay the full rather than minimum balance?
Thanks

I would clear it now. If you wait until the next payment due by date you will have interest applied to your account.

John is right, pay by the 6th to be safe, otherwise they may charge you interest from then until you pay off your balance in full.

And make sure you allow plenty of time for your payment to reach their bank (your account)! Should tell you on the back of your statement approximately how many days it takes payments to get there - sometimes as long as 10 working days. Better to be safe than sorry.

That's why I said NOW. There are not a lot of working days between NOW and the 6th May (whitch is a non-working Saturday).
