Definitely NOT PC World
Have a look at the Dell Outlet store:
http://www1.euro.dell.com/content/default.aspx?c=uk&l=en&s=dfh
When you put one in your cart, scroll down the page and you'll see (under Software and peripherals) a line to tick, which takes £55 (ex VAT) off the price, it's also free delivery at the moment. Both offers end 13/4.I only exist in my own mind - if you can see, hear or read me, you are a product of my imagination.0 -
This is a link direct to the Dimension desktop stockroom:

Try PC World by all means as you will get the same service here as anywhere
its surprising how they still manage to survive
Just remeber that shopping for a PC is like buying anything, you want good afterservice with a PC as the top priority and not the amount of naff software bundled, If you shop with Dell they do offer up good offers but the aftercare can be a little hit and miss, You can wait upto 3weeks to get a PC repaired this does ring true with PC World aswell but you can pop instore and return goods to them and collect from them and talk to a human wich can always help.
I would say tho for the best service try a well established independent store.
You pays yer cash you takes yer risks (kinda thing).0 -
I would actually recommend PC World... but NOT for buying!
Allthough the net has excellent prices for shopping, it still doesn't give you the 'tactile' experience. There's nothing better than seeing a PC or Laptop in real life rather than a 4" x 3" picture.
The reason not to buy from PC world is markup prices. As an example, a Belkin USB lead from PC world is approx £12.99 and one from an online retailer is around a £1. Slight difference!!
Good look!!

Build your own. Much easier than you'd think, and so much more satisfying. Plus you only pay for what you need.0
