Shoprider Capri - changing batteries

I had to change batteries for this scooter after 3 years of use. A few tips,
it's not as straightforward as it should be.. Mind and get the correct batteries.
I opted for Yuasa NP12-12, 12V 12A which fit perfectly from https://www.batterymasters.co.uk @ £22.41 each plus Vat each were the cheapest at the time. I reclaimed the VAT of course. Next day courier delivery
was just under £6.
Anyway back to the fitting.. The battery housing box has about a dozen screws
on the base and two on the top to loosen for access. You will see a sticker on the base that states, "Do not remove"..ignore it, scrape it off and you will discover two further screws. - no wonder they don't want you to remove it!
Use the existing cabling to connect your new batteries. Tighten everything securely and hopefully you can look forward to another 3 years of use.
Hope this helps. :-)
