At around Summer 2006 I sent a letter to BOS about my bank charges of around £150 and they accepted my claim saying it would be on hold until further notice.
Recently however, due to having a difficult time finding a job, I found myself getting charged a couple of times. The charges are now at around £220 (including interest).
I re-sent the letter to BOS with my updated bank charges and gave them the 14 day reply due date. However the problem is they haven't replied back. Is it safe to assume they have just updated my previous query with the new charge amount? Or have they ignored it completely? As I don't qualify for the hardship status, I am prepared to wait, however I would just like some clarification.
Thanks,
LaChavvy

No it wasn't, I didn't realise that that was required. Does this mean I should re-send the letter?
As a note, first time around I didn't send it via 1st class recorded and managed to get a reply.0 -
It can be hit and miss. I would re send it recorded delivery so that there is no issue as to them not receiving it.No it wasn't, I didn't realise that that was required. Does this mean I should re-send the letter?
