DSR says you can return them within 7 days if not bought in person. i.e. On the internet, over the phone, mail order etc.

You have no rights to return the items otherwise. Unless, of course they are faulty, or not as described.

Other than that you are reliant on the retailers good will.

It doesn't - if you buy it in store you have no rights to return because you don't want it - it's just retailers good will.

Nowhere, as others have said.

If you've changed your mind about a purchase, legally you've got precisely zero days if you bought something from a shop and 7 days from the date of delivery if you bought something remotely (internet, mail order, telephone etc).

Unless faulty, all other returns are subject to the retailer's own policy or goodwill.
