Cream Carpet - Black Eyeshadow

Hi
I need some advice. I have a short pile cream carpet and managed to get not only black eyeshadow on it but also spilt a full bottle of Herbal Essences Shampoo on it (bright blue!!). I bought 1001 stain mousse but it is not touching either stain no matter how many times I have tried!
Any suggestions (bar buying a new carpet?) the eyeshadow is well and truly ingrained and now a massive smudgy grey colour!
Thanks

Not the best suggestions, but my in laws ruined a patch of their new cream carpet. They cut out a patch under the bed and swapped it over.

Hi,
No 100% guarantees that these will work, but the most trusted product sold by carpet shops for small stain removal are 'WIPE OFF' Stain removing wipes. They look just like wet wipes and they really do work on bedded-in stains.
A flooring retailer I deal with once demonstrated them to his carpet customer, askeing her to get some make up out of her bag and dab it onto a carpet sample: she used eye shadow and mascara. the wipes took it out no problem.
Ive just had a quick look, and they sell them on EBAY if you search for CARPET WIPES!Profit=sanity

I have a cream carpet and was told that i could use bleach on it to remove stains.
This works really well.
Please to a patch test first if you are thinking of using bleach.
Worth a try if you are thinking of getting a new carpet anyway.
I always use about 3 capfulls of bleach in a buck of water and just mop over the carpet.
ONLY if the carpet is made of polypropylene.
Good luck. When life gives you a hundred reasons to cry, show life that you have a thousand reasons to smile0 -

My sincere apologies for the abruptness! Didn't want the OP scrubbing a bottle of domestos into their wool carpet later tonight!!!
Polypropylene carpet fibre is manufactured from extruded plastic (Basically melted plastic pressed through a seive-like machine to create a thin fibre), meaning there is no fabric dye to bleach out. It is completely safe to clean a polypropylene carpet with neat bleach if you wish...
On the other hand, carpets fibres manufactured from wool or nylon are dipped into liquid fabric dyes, and the bleach will completely ruin them!!
Sorry again for the abruptness.Profit=sanity

Thankyou for the explanation:D.
At least i now know what my carpet is made of and why i can clean it with bleach.
A melted plastic carpet sounds so cheap and nasty. I honestly didn't know that is what they made the fibre out of how stupid am i
I am grateful for your expertise.:T

if you cant get the stain out yourself, before replacing it, get a professional steam carpet cleaner in. it is amazing what they can get out of carpets using a proper industrial cleaning machine, they are a million times better than the diy carpet cleaners you can get.
I would be very wary of bleaching it myself unless you are 100% sure it is polypropylene!0
