One to block: Amusingly loopy eBayer (made me laugh anyway!)

Surfing the net for luxury bath products on the site of one of my fave eBay sellers while I wait for the 'rents to call from the station to say they need picking up I found this:

http://contact.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ShowAllQuestions&redirect=0&&ShowASQAlways=1&iid=400061529946&SSPageName=PageAskSellerQuestion_VI&requested=sunshineyjewel&frm=284&guest=1

Q: Hi! I am PayPal verified. Please read my (302+) 100% feedback, all from UK (90%), US (8%) and CANADA (1%), Singapore, Thailand and Italy (1%) sellers. I will pay you immediately, like I always do. 1. Could u ship it to Argentina in a bubble wrap lined envelope by Royal Mail SURFACE Small Packets at 4.59 GBP for 700g, as per royalmail.com? 2. Could u declare it on the customs sticker as : "Liquid soap valued 3 GBP in total", irrespective of price paid? Here duties are 100% of the declared value (!!) both for gifts & purchases, so your collaboration is essential. Tx, Sil

14-Jul-09A: Hiya my lovely, Airmail Small Packets at £8.35, and International Signed at £16.38 are the only postal option available according to the Royal Mail Calculator. http://sg.royalmail.com/portal/rm/PriceFinderResults?pageId=pc_sltc_rm_results&keyname=rmPriceFinderResults&catId=23500532 I also charge £0.65 for packing materials on top of that. I send all international parcels over a certain value by International Signed for post which would double the cost of this item. Having looked at your feedback as you suggested, including the feedback you have left for your previous sellers I don't think that you would like to pay that amount. I'm also not at all comfortable with lying to Customs. Surely that must be breaking the law? I'm ever so sory hon, Love Jackie xxx

Now after an email chat with the seller check out the feedback our prospective buyer likes to leave:

Block at will ladies and gentlemen! :D

    No, that's his/her standard M.O. (Scroll down.)

    I haven't had any dealings with this person myself. I just found them very amusing in a car crash TV kind of way. I'm more of a buyer sadly, I only sell odd things now and again. (I blocked the buyer just to be on the safe side though!)

    It says "member in Argentina" at the top of the FB profile.

    More fool the sellers who seemd to have listed the items as UK only, but obviously agreed to ship the item to this buyer in Argentinia.

    I hadn't thought of that. How can this person even bid on items that are Uk only?

    I also wondered why the sellers hadn't applied to have the FB removed? Calling people "Human Trash" has got to be against the rules surely?

    Debt-free and Proud!
    Think she needs to buy a new keyboard, space bar is broken by the looks of it.
  • The funniest part is demanding surface mail which takes weeks (I think it's up to 56 days) and then leaving negative FB because something took a long time to get there!

    Crazy person!

    And this would be the kind of reason that caused me to change all my auctions to UK only!!

    OMG what a loon! I don't see how that feedback is allowed, personally attacking somebody doesn't make for helpful, constructive feedback does it?
    :heart: Think happy & you'll be happy :heart:
