That's because she is getting a cut of the money you make. She makes most of her money by persuading/encouraging you to get out and earn.

In turn, she has someone above her who is getting a cut from what she earns and what she gets from your earnings. So she has someone "encouraging" her to keep on "encouraging" you to keep selling. And so it goes on up the pyramid.

Some people think of it as "Earning money by helping other to earn", and some think of it as "Taking a cut from the earnings of the mugs you recruit"

Don't get me wrong we always knew she was earning from our sales, well lack of in our case lol - I'm a sales leader now with Avon, and earn a small percentage of my teams sales. But - I don't smother them, I email every month with ideas/hints that will help them, and they know they can text/email/ring if they get stuck with anything - but other than that I just let them get on with it as that's how they are happy doing things - I've been at the receiving end of a team leader who was too over the top and don't want to inflict that upon others! :p
Avon Lady since 2009 - I help on the Avon hints & tips thread to help other reps/new sales leaders as I was helped so much by it when I first started out :A

I meant the local paper had ads saying kleeneze stock for sale £800+ so they must mean the brochures or something.

Sadly, to date, not one of them has come back to say they made a profit.

What a load of tosh, there's plenty of people on here said they've made money with Kleeneze. I've posted several times that i've made a profit every month i've been with the company and i've been doing Kleeneze since Feb!

We don't take any money from our downline. Our bonus is paid according to how well our team does, but is paid directly by headoffice into our bank by bacs transfer. No money comes from our downline to pay our earnings.

I have actually seen this myself aswell, and you'll see it if you type "kleeneze" or "betterware" into eBay too. As far as I can tell, its actually distributors who are trying to sell without putting catalogues out.

If they sell £1000 of stuff in 4 weeks by putting catalogues out they'd earn £275 ish. If they decided to put it in paper instead.... "£1000 worth of stuff for £875" they've sold it all with no effort and still made £150. If you do that on a mass scale... there could be money to be made. However, it is actually against the rules and if found out they get banned from being a distributor.

I joined Kleneze recently and i have been surprised by the level of bad feeling towards the company from members on this forum. I am glad i didn't read this before getting involved otherwise i think it would have put me off.

I don't seem to have the problem of too much competition as the people i have spoken to said they haven't seen a catalogue in ages. I've managed to earn £100 in the first fortnight and it fits in with my day job really well.

I do have one of those "pushers" above me though. I don't appreciate emails with the line "anyone doing less than £2000 retail a month MUST attend this meeting". Hmmm, i'll be swerving it!

I'm just happy to get on with it my way and see how it builds. By the end of the month i should have earnt back my £135 that i bought in with and then its a freebie!

Good points.. I'm pretty sure lots of people will find your personal experience with them really helpful to push them through..

Sad to say illness has scuppered my attempts to distribute catalogues this week. Something worth bearing in mind for anyone considering.

Kleeneze don't pay sick days! Thanks for explaning the stock advert which people had mentioned.

Yeah I suppose it can be a problem although if you're on long term sick then i'm pretty sure you can actually claim something because you should be paying National Insurance Contributions. Same as Maternity... i've already checked and i'll be eligible for payments should I get pregnant so long as i've earned £30+ a week whilst i've been working

I was updating my own squidoo pages earlier when I came across these if anybody finds them interesting. They're a collection of writings about Kleeneze and the first one is particular relevant to the OP, and the other people who were looking for kleeneze tips and advice.
