eBay sellers with their own checkout...

Does anybody else find this very annoying? I bought something yesterday and it took me ages to get through all the screens, confirm what I was buying about 4 times, confirm my address a few times and I now have EIGHT emails confirming I have bought this item

It just seems so excessive and pointless? I suppose from the sellers point of view it might make things easier or something but personally it annoys me, a lot!

Is it just me? Am I just being picky?

I agree 100% with you, I have told companies I will no longer trade with them because of their checkout procedures.

They can destroy the "feel" of a perfectly good deal by something as straightforward as this.

i agree. it really does my head in,,, the thing is if you buy from ebay you expect to use the ebay services. not register on another site so they can collect data from you. i dont understand the point of the extra checkout system as you still have bought and paid through ebay and paypal. pointless system.
