Hi all,
was just wondering if anyone knows about Highstreetmax.com? They have been taking money out of OH's account for nearly 2 years (he didn't notice as he often buys stuff and car parts on line), either £14.95 or £17.95 each month, i have just found out that it has been linked to using lastminute.com which we did in August 2007 a month before the charges started.
I have emailed the company to try to get them to stop, i have also treid calling but couldn't get through, has anyone had any dealings with them? or any advice how we can get our £400 back, in the email i have given the 7 working days to respond, what next?
Thanks

The above is the address. Send a letter recorded delivery to the company asking that all authorisation for payments are cancelled with immediate effect. If they take further payments then the bank can use the proof you have to get the money back as fraud since your authorisation will have been withdrawn.0
