help what effecting my broad beans
Got loads of beans (broad and french) growing up a big wigwam in the garden. Been enjoying the "fruits of my labour" as it were for a few weeks now. Young fresh broad beans are so much more yummy than shop bought ones.
One of the bean plants has some missshaped pods, and now some have grown with like little green spots or bumps on the outside of them. The beans inside look and taste fine. Have I just got a wonky plant? The others seem fine.

Sounds like an aphid problem thats probably cured itself by the presence of predators such as ladybirds. The aphids suck out the sap from the broad bean stalks and leafs causing the beans to become mishapen.0

Did find a few lady birds and hoverfly larvae(had to google that one otherwise I wouldn't have known what it was lol). The hoverfly l in particular was fascinating to watch, it ate aphids like crazy.
