Is it a good idea to enter my Amex Platinum cashback card as my paypal payment method? Will I still get cashback? Will I get charged for a cash advance for buying goods?

I just donated to a friends justgiving charity fund through paypal and the amex, will that be treated as cash??? Will I get cash back?
