Doubled Balance transfer

in Credit cards
A friend of mine has inadvertently made 2 balance transfers to the same card - instead of 2 different cards. Consequently, she now has £2000 in credit sitting on her egg card instead of paying off her halifax card. Is there a way she can transfer the excess money out of the egg card to perhaps her bank account or pay her other credit card. She doesn't want to do another balance transfer out of the egg card, as this may incur another fee. Is there a way round this problem? I can' think of a solution, other then another bt which will incur a fee. Any bright sparks out there with an idea?

Only other way round it is to spend everything she can on her egg card and use the money she would have otherwise spent to repay the other card. Of course, depending on how much she spends in a month, it might take a couple of months to pay the whole lot off - in which time she may have gathered more interest than simply paying the fee.0
