Car insurance comparason problem.......

I'm trying to stick to my money saving ways and do a proper comparason as my car insurance is up for renewal. However, having a few problems as i've recently moved into a new build house and no-one is recognising my postcode!

Are there any ways around this? I really don't want to accept my renewal quote from direct line as i've now got 4 years no claims so should be able to get a much better deal.

Any advice appreciated!

To do comparisons you could try looking up the postcode for an established street very close to yours. Although not guaranteed that the insurers rate your address the same as the one you input, if it is geographically very close you should get a good idea of the likely premiums.

If your chosen insurer's website doesn't recognise your address then it is a pain if you are hoping to get quidco type cashback as you will need to buy over the phone and lose out on the cashback.
