Anyone else watching this? It is like come dine with me...but with weddings...tis FAB!
Anyway, last night this lady claimed to have spent £2,000 on her wedding for 300 people, including hot food and entertainment. I couldn't believe it! I am looking to spend £3,000ish on my wedding but that is for 100 people and a cold buffet. What did everyone think of her MSE day?
She came last in the votes lol but then again she was up against a fairy themed wedding, a £35,000 gay civil ceremony in a gorge venue, and a over the top pink fun packed wedding.

I could not work out how the £2000 lady did it either!

I think the over the top pink wedding should have won personally. I couldn't stand the gay guy Adam. He was just too up him self and it didn't even look a good evening party, just a massive !!!! up!. Plus no first dance, a sing song..I was agreeing with the fairy lady about the fact it's pukey!
But I take my hat off to the 2k lady. But it was up in leeds where I guess things could be cheaper. What's yours is mine and what's mine is mine..0 -
I spent ages trying to figure out how Adam spent £35k on his wedding! Lasagne!0

I soo agree with the comments made so far. Adam I did not like and he did not deserve to win at all.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0

I dont have Living, id have loved to watch this, looks fabulous! What matters most is how well you walk through the fire0 -
I love this programme - I love the first one where one bride spent £77,000 but glad the down to earth bride won. Wasn't impressed with the wedding in the cave though - although it was very originally and looked beautiful.
I didn't like the gay bride - very arrogant but loved the fairy wedding and the pinkness!! Cant work out how the other bride only spent £2,000 when she had so many guests and Irish dancers and a band etc..0 -

from the link from picklepick it looks like a combo of ebay, self made favours, doscount stores and free photography.QUIDCO £2827 paid out since October 2007:D0 -
She didn't spend £2000 on her wedding. She spent £3000. Look at the page in the link:Date: 23rd May, 2009
Budget: £3000 - including £2000 donations from guests

I know - both the £35K & £77K one Ive wondered how the hell they have spent that much.... and why they cant bloody afford they're own fancy honeymoons!? (Guess they just wanted the tv cameras there!!)
And i dont know how she did it - i think shes only including the money SHE spent.. apparently her mum had made the buffet so i assume thats not accounted for etc.0
