I'm still none the wiser - why if you've got flu symptoms would you be out of bed or even out of the house infecting everybody else??

I bet there are loads of people with colds there who are panicking ;)

Poor you... :o:o, have you grown a tail yet? :p

Oh googled ACPs and found this:
When you phone a GP practice to report flu-like symptoms, the GP will normally email NHS Ealing to notify them that you need medication. If you are the patient, please do not go to the ACP yourself. Please hand this leaflet to someone who can pick up your medication for you.

So you dont go yourself - that makes mucho more sense, but still its weird to be giving out drugs on the basis of reported flu symptoms - wonder what the cost per patient is of them and staffing the place etc etc...hmmmm got my brain thinking now

Yep - signed off for another 2 weeks.

I've got DD2's end of year production tomorrow night, I can't go feeling like this and DH can't sit still long enough to watch it - guilty mummy time!

Sammy-you're fine leaving DD-she is an adult starting her own family and has her own partner now...time to let her stand on her own 2 feet (and you're only down the road!!!)

 this would be fine if DD's boyfriend hadn't lost his licence for speeding! He had it revoked...he has now rebooked his test (hopefully in time for the birth) however, at the moment I am the one that has been driving them back to the hospital.

DD txt me at 5pm to say she can come home, I drive to hospital only to find that they had 'forgotten' she needed an Anti D injection due to being Rhesus negative. They have to order it from the blood bank.... three hours later and I am only just home.....

I now have to work till late to catch up...I am seriously grumpy.
