i've recently tried claiming credit card charges back from halifax.
they offered £700 and £25 interest
Halifax passed my debt on to a collection agency (eos solutions) which i'm still paying
Halifax say the £725 will be knocked off that debt ....is that right or can i claim the cash?

Hi
Im pretty sure if you have a debt with them they will just knock what they have offered you off whats outstanding. Im sure from other posts this has been the case - someone else may come along and confirm this shortly.

They absolutely have the right to deduct their settlement from monies owed by you to the bank. Sad but true.LBM 30/6/9 Unsecured debts [STRIKE]£25,323.48[/STRIKE] £0 :T Debt free
