DVD Rewritable Blank Media

I was wondering what the best price that anyone has found for these is?

The cheapest I've managed to find are these http://svp.co.uk/products-solo.php?pid=240

at £2.49 for 10 + p&p which brings the total to £5.08.

Not brilliant, is the P&P the same for any amount for order?

    I always use http://www.ukdvdr.co.uk/shop/home.php

Never had a problem with disc's or delivery. For dvd related sites go to http://forum.digital-digest.com/ & http://www.dvd-recordable.org/index.php and join the forums and ask your question again.

Blank DVDs/CDs are one area where it can be worth paying more for better quality. I've had cheap rewritable DVDs that have become unusable after just weeks.

I have to totally agree with Darksun, Ive had a DVD writer for 3/4 years and a CD recorder for almost 10 and I cannot begin to work out the amount of cheap discs I have had to throw after a couple of months.

If you have a costco card the Philips ones are pretty good.
  • Hi
I like the Verbatim dvd's, 25 x16 for £6.98 at Amazon, if you spend over £15 free delivery.
    Hope this helps

PS Sainsburys was selling these cheap a while ago, half price

Morrisons have 8X Memorex DVD-R 25 Packs for £8.99 which is not as cheap as on line but if you need some right away it's reasonable. I've never had any problem with them.

Slightly off topic but does anyone know how a DVD drive tells the speed that a blank DVD will write at. My drive knows if I insert a 4X or an 8X writeable disk. Is there a small area on a blank disk with some data on it that the DVD drive reads?
