    This practice used to be "de rigeur" at the old Reading Festival before it was re-invented it as an indie/rock crossover thing.

    It is partially understandable. People drink a lot then need to relieve themselves and if they are near the front they cannot get to the toilet easily - Wembley is a big place - and may not find their way back to their friends in the throng if they are drunk, so they use a plastic container. What is wholly indefensible is if they then start throwing this around. When they sober up, they probably feel really guilty, if that's any consolation.

    Anyway, I should be safe from such worries in a small venue like the Roundhouse.

    What a brilliant gig it was! Musically they were as tight as anything and Liam was note perfect on the vocals all night... when he wasn't storrming off stage in a huff because someone threw a pint of beer at him! :)
