Hello
I left the RN about 5yrs ago.
Does anyone know if there are any place that can help with finacial matters, without discounts for ex forces.
ie solictors, anything to do with schools.
Im kinda a bit peeved off (not for the first time)with be an ex servicemen and doing everything above board.
Cant get my boy in a decent school due to catchment areas etc, done the right thing, wiating lists etc. what i should have done was just rent a place or room in the right catchment area.
We are also gonna sell the house and move, so im kinda after discounts on fees etc solictors etc.
Final option private school, any schools for kids whose dads are ex servicemen, and that i can afford to.
I wonder whethet i can move into a MQ as a ex.
Right i have had a moan, if anyone has got a clue what i should do let me know.
PS the end of the school term in nigh
And anyone who is reading this and is operational, look after yourself, and believe or not most people have positive thoughts for you.

Have you spoken to the White Ensign Association?
I used them once and couldn't fault them. They simply couldn't do enough to help. I had Barristers not only giving advice, but also writing the letters for me.0 -
SSAFA might be able to point you in the right direction?0

MOD discount directory (google it) has companies that have forces discounts, "vets" (so American...) included, might be worth a look?0
