I'm as blind as a bat, on my computer i have 'view' on the toolbar, if you click that you should be able to 'zoom in'.
I use it for writing and reading.Liverpool is one of the wonders of Britain,
What it may grow to in time, I know not what.

Thanks -I've got Microsoft Office but its only just now the prints sort of shrunk ! I must have touched something on the keyboard thats made it happen -only thing I can think of.
I've been to 'Computer' section of my lap top and text size is marked as Medium, which is what I'd done but on this site its gone very small...........
Forgive me for not explaining very well.........bit of a dunce with this tech stuff I'm afraid.I would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

Are you talking about viewing text in your web browser (as you would when reading/posting to this board), or typing text into MS Word to create a text document?
Your first post said 'need to make the text I type bigger' so I assumed you were talking about the latter? If you mean the former, please advise what web browser you are using? No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
You may need the formatting toolbar which will then give you the option to enlarge the text. Try View > Toolbars > Formatting.0

Sorry I'm so vague.
Its for internet - I've got Google
My tool bar doesn't have much stuff on it and I'll have to try and find the bits you mean - can't find anything that says 'view'.
Oh dear -theres a Tools thing on the right hand side -I'll have a look there Oh I do feel stupidI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !

If text needs to be larger for reading posts on forums, for example, go to View, Text Size, and choose Largest.
Alternatively, you could 'restore' to before the problem initially occurred.
Good luck0 -

Do you mean you are using the Google Chrome browser?
Or are you using (as I suspect) Internet Explorer with Google as your home page?No free lunch, and no free laptop0 -
Internet Expllorer and Google home page.........managed to sort something out by doing the 'zooming' - least I can see what I'm doing better.
Now its the tool bar to put stuff on it.
Think I'll have a coffee now...........phew !!
Thanks folks for being so patient with a novice.
Hope this solves my problem till I can get it sorted properlyI would be unstoppable if only I could get started !
