    Hi Dan
The coolers are priced at £19.98 in Glasgow, 2 in stock this evening as I was back down at Big W tonight, lots of other offers in the reduced area, I bought an air purifier £79.99 down to £19.98 and a foot spa reduced to £4.98. If you have a Big W close by I would call into the store and check out the price yourself as the prices dont seem to be consistent within the store, my air purifier scanned at £29.99 at the till then they had to over-ride the till to change the price to £19.98.

Thanks Jeff - I have a Woolworths not far from home, but am working today and tomorrow, will likely pop in there on Good Friday and see what they have on offer in the store - if I can see a 19.98 promotion I will likely fo gor it, otherwise I might just ask if they can scan one and tll me what it rings up as.

Has anyone bought a 240V adaptor for one of these, or the Macro one?

    Any suggestions on good sources?

The Halfords site has one for £19.99, but I'm unsure as to whether it is a generic connection.

For the record, my main useage for this would be for when we go camping.

    Cheers

    Dan

Probably because it's almost impossible to design one that would work reliably. It has no knowledge of the condition of your battery, nor the requirements placed on it to start the car, and it would be pointless trying to guess. If it waited until the voltage dropped to a certain level you'd more than likely need to jump start the car. If it had a timer then it would switch off when the car was running which would only cause annoyance.
Time is an illusion - lunch time doubly so.

Some of the new Halfords ones do have a switchable auto cut off. The old ones used to have a permanant cut off but it resulted in so many returns for "faulty" boxes that they decided to remove it.

How big is an 8L box? For example how many juice bricks could you fit in it?

I know I'm inviting the answer "8" but as I assume they are an odd shape or something ;) what I really want to know is if 8L is generally sufficient for a small family?
