if you read reviews then this thing is asbolutely rubbish at making cups of tea and also breaks a lot.
I wouldn't go anywhere near it personally0 -
Good for coffee but not tea from what I've heard (water needs to be boiling for tea but not coffee)0

These are terrible.
I owned one, and the water never quite gets hot enough, resulting in a bland tea.
I also had the rather alarming issue of it catching fire on me, thus ending it's life in my kitchen! I pressed the button and nipped out to answer the phone, when I came back it was ablaze with burning molten plastic all over my counter!
Never again will I own one of these. We have removed your signature - please contact the forum team if you are not sure why - Forum Team0 -
ive just bought 2 off these from argos (the same price) and have used one all weekend and had no problems with it. im really impressed with it.
might no be hot enough for really hot tea, but it does does make a decent cup. plus you can have cold filtered water too. much better than useing a kettle and quicker.
i would recommend!0 -
Has anyone tried the Breville one? That one is supposed to dispense boiling water and the reviews seem quite good. Would be interested to hear if anyone has one.0

I just bought a new kettle from Asdas .. their own make Stainless Steel fast-boil kettle .. its great very quick .. boils water in about 10 seconds and cost £15.970

I've had one of these for 4 months and I have to say they are really good. Yes, the water is not absolutely boiling, but I have no complaints from my coffee and for tea, my gf thinks it's great.
I use it for putting hot water into saucepans for cooking veg.
Add to it that it filters water.
If you're a single person, or someone who regularly makes coffee / tea for one person, then you can't go wrong with this.

I've had mine about 3 months, use it several times a day for tea and coffee and love it.0
