TalkTalk TopTop!

Hi,
Our landline and BB went down on Sunday 12th (about 6.30pm.) I got someone else to call TalkTalk on their customer services number. TalkTalk called me on my mobile, instantly re-directed my incoming calls to my mobile (free) and then called me back today (Monday 13th) at about 3pm to say its all sorted. And it is! Brilliant, off for less than 24hrs, no missed calls and one very happy customer!
:j
Just thought you might like read something positive about TalkTalk customer service.

    Hi,
Since the BB is free with my landline rental I guess I might just have to accept the downtime. It was less than 24 hrs so how much would my claim be for?
There is a street light not working near my house, I'm not asking for money off my council tax because of it! Let's keep it real.

Your telephone line and your BB is down for about 20 hours and you come on here praising the company that was responsible for it all.

My BB has never gone down for more than 5 minutes in 3 years.

You must have very low expectations.

Thanks for that. I genuinely thought I must be missing something obvious in the OP. What faint praise - thanks for allowing my BB to be down for 20 hours and getting me back on.

Well, it comes down to comparing TalkTalk with my previous supplier who, when their supply went down, kept me on the phone for a total of 27 hrs before getting me back online and I slated them on here for that . Yes, I do expect a fair service for my money, but I guess I have more important things to be worried about than whether my BB works 24/7/365. It may even have been off for longer than I know but I don't rely on it so I'm just happy they acted when I told them. I could be wrong but do all the other suppliers act as quickly (when the service they supply is free) and offer the incoming line transfer FOC. Tiscali never did, the Post Office don't and I've read plenty on here about the failings of BT too. So I'm happy with what I've got.
