18yr old wanting card to book gap year

Hi, I was wondering if anybody would help me with a good credit card to book my gap year holiday to Australia. I will need around 2-3 months interest free and a credit limit of over £2000 which could be a real problem. I can pay off 70% at the time of booking, could this affect credit limit. I don't really know too much about credit cards and need some general help. Thanks very much

there is no realistic prospect of an 18 year old getting a 2k limit... maybe 250 or 500
there is no realistic prospect of someone without a credit card already (and hence a credit histroy) of getting a card with interest free period of 3 months.

however, unrealistic things do happen sometimes

try your bank for your first CC as they know how you manage your money.

and of course ask your parents to book the holiday using their credit cards.

I would assume you do not have a job either.
Think your only option will be to try to get yourself put on a parents card as a second user.

Sounds like a big ask for an 18 year old, what is your annual income?
