we are about to plant some honeysuckle in planters, we asked at the local garden centre and they suggested j. innes #3 but they also said the planters may not be large enough , they are 12" cube inside measurement. the chap said they maybe good for a couple of years but would then get bound up. any thoughts please

They probably won't grow as large in the containers, but I would have thought they'd have been fine. I grew some in window boxes when I lived in a flat and then stuck them in the ground once I had a garden, and they thrived.
