Do you tend to eat out alot when your on holiday ?
Ive noticed there is a Harvester 10 miles away from Devon Cliffs, you may want to time days out to get tea there, its £4.99 for a meal before 6.30 and free salad bar, we used a Harvester while on holiday in Suffolk recently, went there 4 nights is a row, kids meals are £3.95 and you got loads of food and drinks are very reasonable too

I also remembered a short cut into Exmouth seafront , when you go out the gates turn left before the pub in the village and follow the road it takes you straight to the seafront and its alot quicker than going through the town and traffic lights etc0 -

Oooh thats brilliant to know, thank you!
We will go out to eat a few times, I have a thing about having to have fish and chips by the seaside (it's not fresh in the midlands!) and we will go to pubs. I'm planning on cooking too so I can keep costs down, I think the 2 little ones will be too tired to go out every evening! (hopefully!)
I've mentioned to hubby about the tips on this thread, and he's looked at me like I've just landed! Looks like I'll be going to the pound shop on my own then
Thanks again, so helpful.96 items decluttered so far in 20130 -

There is a zoo type place at the entry to the park we never went in it tho , you will see it as you enter the park.

We were at Primrose Valley a couple of weeks ago and were there 4 nights and spent approx £250, only got 1 child but we ate out 3 out of 4 nights and went to the evening entertainment 2 nights(jugs of beer £9). I think £500 should be plenty as long as you stock up on essential groceries before you go, make up sandwiches for lunch. You could get carried away with the amusements but you just need to learn how to say no sometimes.0

It is better to be thought of as an idiot than to open your mouth and remove all doubt
