Another thought was if my partner took out a loan (somehow) and paid off my debts and move country, if we get married there and she takes my name and if we do come back would they reconise who she is?

If it was as easy to avoid the authorities by just changing your name when you got married there would be a lot more defaults in this country.

Instead of trying to run from the debt, deal with it responsibly.
If you genuinely can't afford the present repayments fair enough. Speak to the debt charities, offer the creditors token amounts and set up a dmp or whatever they suggest.
You could run from it now in the short term, but why take the risk that it'll come back to bite you later?

How would the creditors ever be able to find me even if i did come back? if all ours bills and stuff was in my partners name? i would love to pay it off but lloyds are not very helpfull when i explained my situation, i know they want there money but i have got to feed mouths first!

    thanks all for replying

It's the law that all adults need to be registered for council tax and registered to vote. You'd also need a bank account in your name, the address of which is recorded on your credit file. You will end up with CCJs in your absence; far better to write to your creditors and offer £1 token payments. If they hassle you or your mum you can send the standard harrassment letters.
