Mauritius...anyone Been To Heritage Resort?

All views greatly recieved!

Thinking of getting married at this resort in the near future.

We have looked at the Dinarobin, Royal Palm, One and only resorts but have heard that Mauritius is quite expensive and it is better to go all inclusive.

The all inclusive deal at the Heritage seems quite good.

Also if you can recommend who to book with then that would be useful too, we want to fly BA though.

Look at the reviews on trip advisor

    http://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g293816-d505820-r4943811-Heritage_Golf_Spa_Resort-Mauritius.html

Looks great and unusual to get so many good reviews, someone always complains!!! We stayed at Beau Rivage and it was fabulous (HB) and the wine is very expensive, i'd consider AI next time (hopefully). We also flew with BA and had a good flight. The set up for weddings in our hotel looked special and very romantic. Have a fab time and good luck.

Hi there, I got married in Mauritius this time last year in Les Pavillions. Was a lovely hotel on the South East of the island. Yes, definately go All Inclusive.
    Good luck! x

I have been looking at (saving up for) a holiday to Mauritius although not for a wedding. I had a job to do at elegantdestinations at their premises in Aylesbury and while doing it had a very informative chat, they really seem to know the island and did not think the cost of living was a problem there.
The website (http://www.elegantdestinations.co.uk) is not terribly sophisticated but I think they are worth phoning for more info. I`ll certainly put them on my list when I haved saved up a bit longer.

Thank god for some sense, Maurituis is dirt cheap so long as you dont eat, drink and to be truthfull sleep in the big fancy hotels. If you have loads of money go to them, but if thats the case what are you on this site for?
Maurituis is dirt cheap once your there, we are going back this year and taking the kids this time, we had a 3 bed villa with private beach half board and worked out about £50 (for 2 people not each) a night!!!!!! By the way it was superb not 5* more 4*, at a really picky push 3* then only because the pool was small, but this is Mauritius surrounded by the sea!!!!!
The beach at mon choisy was like a picture postcard, seperated from the smaller 5* hotel beach by a rope!!!!. We had stir fry prawn noodles, with all the extras and drinks on the beach from local stalls for only £4 each and watched the sunset.
Dont be a mug and pay £3/4000 on a hotel save your money and and get a 5* break for £500 on the med and lie by pool there. Get a car and have an adventure and still be quids in.

Iy you want to do it this way there are some great sites to visit main one http://www.info-mauritius.com/ or http://mitglied.lycos.de/ilemaurice001/
If you want more info let me know.
