Looking for a certain netbook which is ASUS. We have one already and want another (don't ask) so yesterday searched the model and found that Comet are selling at £229.99. So, double check the specifications to see that under the operating system Comet say "tbc" which presumably means "To be Confirmed"
Now why would anybody want to buy a netbook/laptop without knowing the op system?? We wanted to make sure it had Windows XP (and not Linux) which our other exact same model has.
So, I see, live help. Off I click a message asking if they could confirm the op system. Message back saying, hold on I am checking, then after about 5 mins at 16.55, message back saying "sorry we are unable to answer your question, please call 0845..... tomorrow as we close at 5pm today (still 5 minutes to go in my calculations)
So I have sent off an email to them asking why advertise a product for sale which is missing crucial information to a prospective purchaser? Also, why bother having live help if they cannot help?
Needless to say Comet have lost the sale as I will buy from Argos even though it is £14 more expensive.
