Disability stroller

Options
My son who is autistic uses a disability stroller that we purchased ourselves. However times have changed and we are now surviving on benefits. The stroller needs a sunshade and raincover, who could we approach for help with this. It will cost about £60.

Many Thanks

Ring your social services dept, ask to be refered to an Occupational Therapist for an assessment. They will advise you.

You could ask your local lions group or similar charity - my local lions bought my daughter a Maclaren Major a few years ago.

You could try the Family Fund www.familyfund.org.uk

There may be other things you are entitled to so check out the website.
The bigger the bargain, the better I feel.

I should mention that there's only one of me, don't confuse me with others of the same name.

your local round table may be able to help out also. ask the social worker. she can put you on to all sorts of local business-type organisations who help out local families in need.
