hi lindie welcome to the site - if you look at the very first post in this thread there is a link which will take you to the flight checker, which is a tool to help you look for low cost flights.Blah0

Carol wrote:Is there any truth in the rumour that Easyjet and other low cost airlines track whether you have recently checked their website then increase their prices when you log on again because you are more likely to buy . A couple of days ago I priced a flight with Easyjet, then trawled the net to see if I could get it any cheaper. When I went back the next day to book, the same flights had gone up £10. After I booked I logged in again just 5 minutes later and they'd gone up another £10. I've heard this is particularly bad if you bookmark the site. I've also heard that there is a piece of software that can reset these "marks" has anyone else heard of this?
I found this problem, was not sure if they had checked but the dates I required to go to Prague for went up.
If anyone knows of any cheap offers please let me know. 28-31st July 05

Thanks

time in late March and Maple foliage in Autumn are very beautiful times in Japan .Another consideration is the strength of the Yen for saving money..I went when it collaspsed and everything was half price..also a railpass is a good buy.Saving money there is more important that a few pounds you save on the flight ..it can be expensive..also paying extra for a stop over somewhere eg Bangkok may be worth it too0 -
Hi there Martin, the flight checker is great. Funny cause I was working on one myself. Anyway, I currently hold all the data for EasyJet as well, and no doubtly you have been asked to incorporate it in to the flight checker.
Would you mind if I post a link up later this week for a flight checker for EasyJet, on this forum.
I sent you an email about it, but unfortunately I got an automate response saying that you don't answer to emails.
Well, you will have my email address in your database, so please drop me a line and let me know what you think.

Hi there all, I just went over Martin's previous postings and realised that Easy Jet have not been so co-operative about a Easy Jet style flight checker.
Since Martin's been so great in providing the MoneySaver website, I wouldn't want to get him into any trouble.
However, I don't wish to abandon my project, so would like to say that I will be posting a link up on Monday (28th March) for those who are interested.
This link will be to a free site that is NOT TITLED EasyJet Flight Checker.
Actually, there will be nothing at all to link it to Easy Jet.
No exact flight details or prices, not even a mention of EasyJet or any other airlines.
BUT, what you can do is, enter a origin (London only airports)/destination/date range/price range (Just like the flight checker) and perform a search.
The results will show a list of recommended dates to travel that will fit your search criteria in regards to destination, date range and price range.
NOTE: I do not specify which airline it is that will have the matching ticket that I suggest (hence there is not legal problems with the result), but I am only one man with one slow computer and it takes 10 hours for me to get 8 months worth of data and why would I waste my time with Ryan Air since there is already a flight checker..Interpret that how you mayFatCatFares - Cheap flights for all, not just Fat Cats!0 -
I noticed that on this page: http://www.moneysavingexpert.com/cgi-bin/viewnews.cgi?newsid1095168181,8244, it says that many airlines are included in the flight checkerwhile ago one of the users of this site, Adam, developed a piece of software that trawls Ryanair's website to find cheap flights. I thought it such a fantastic piece of technology, I asked him to make it a stalwart part of the site, which it now is. So much so that it's now been extended to three other airlines; My Travel Lite, BMI Baby and Flybe. In essence what it does is scan all the prices and then record them. Then, when you select the destination and dates and the price you want to pay (under £5, under £10, or under £25) it lists them in an easy-to-read format.
however, I cannot find any link to access the other airlines, and they are do not appear to have been incorporated in the Ryan Air checker...
Anyone with a suggestion of how I can access these?
Thanks,
Aubs
P.S. Why on earth does my auto signature have "Visit www.investorsassociation.org" in it? - I've NEVER put it there...0 -
Could you please add Almeria (LEI)?
Cheers

Hi, on the detail about flight checker it says it's been extended to also voer 3 more airlines, incuding BMIBABY - when I go to the flight checker input screen it says Ryanair at the top, and any searches I do for my area (East Midands/Manchester/Brum etc) only display Ryanair flights - do I need to do something different to seqarch BMIBABY please|?
cheers
