Well Im pleased to report that the day went well. It was mostly sunny and didn't rain until much later in the day when we were back home. I wore black trousers and a pretty pink top and also took my pretty pink Radley bag too.

I took a little bottle of water with something stronger in it just as a security blanket and only had a few sips just in case. My eyes welled up when the students started to be called out. However, I managed to compose myself though and we clapped and waved to her when it was her turn - it was lovely! They only clap inbetween a group of students, not after each one and we were lucky in that the clapping came after my daughter! Im so proud. Thanks for all your suggestions and help!

You see, beachbeth, you worried about nothing. I am so glad the day went well and that you felt confident and enjoyed yourself.
