Thanks hun, it's still half what Trainline said

I have given up with trainline too. I like the national rail website and it doesnt charge you. I have never had a problem with them.

Just remember to look 12 weeks before to grab the cheap fares:D
But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.

    Not really a small question.
Its all about what u feel is best for you both.
If you have parks near by a garden is not as important.
How about part time wth Nathan & a wee garden?
    Doable?

Actually I was just thinking Beanie that a part time position would be a good compromise. We should be able to manage nicely if I get 3 or 4 days a week...

Not sure what it means in terms of professional fees though:confused:if I don't pay and undertake learning activity I lose my charter...

Get in touch and ask Luc, there must be lots of folk doing similiar these days.

Kids require less "equipment" as they get older and he'll be walking up the stairs beside you soon enough:D. That said I've never done the SAHM thing longterm myself and felt the need to keep going as I thought I'd get out of touch workwise if I didn't go back, I did intend going PT after I'd finished a big piece of work but then just kept going...:o

Hmmm. Food for thought. I also need to sort out WTC - I think we might get something while I'm not working but not sure what effect last year's earnings will have. Do they take into account that you've been made redundant and so the previous year isn't a true reflection of earnings? Do savings have an impact?

Much to ponder and it is past my bedtime!

PT would be perfect Luc, thats as long as what you would spend on childcare would be less than you earn iyswim. Would you go back to the same sort of work or something different. Maybe you could find somewhere with onsite childcare facillites at a reduced rate  I think you have to weigh up the pros and cons and come to a decision but I am sure whatever you decide your OH and we will support. What would you have to earn p/t to cover everything and move? Once the wee one is in school (unless you have more) do you think you may go back f/t?

Good luck with this major decision Luc...
