    £88 for me and DD on the train to Edinburgh, cant fly because DD hasnt got photo ID. I bet the hotels are dear :confused:

    change of plan - no hurry :rolleyes: Friday flights have taxes and Saturday cheap flights arrive in Edinburgh 11pm - you'd all be pished by then!!!

    :rotfl: BB, all in the name of MSE! I cant say yes or no till I know a date (ish) mind as if its not on my weekend off I will have to get someone to swap etc. Its only £69 for me so not too bad :j

    Edit ~ Well thats if you can fly on a driving licence for domestic flights. Anyone know? If not it will be train at £132 because I begrude paying £80 for a passport!

    Spud the cheapest ticket one way is £12 for an adult so £6 for child, even cheaper if you get a family travel card:D

    Advanced tickets are released 12 weeks in advance so you will have to be quick once we know when the date is.

    Edinburgh have a few travelodges that sleep 4 in a room, could you share with someone maybe?
    But these things take time, I know that I'm, the most inept that ever stepped.
