I am currently on JSA. I would like to sell at home on eBay and can make around 300 a month. Do I come of JSA? Am I still eligible for HB.

You keep asking the same questions but not following up on answers people give you.
Do you claim JSA as a couple? How many hours do you intend to work?Gone ... or have I?0 -
Claim JSA as a couple. Around 3 hours a week0

If you are only working three hours a week then you can continue to claim JSA. You will need to declare your earnings, and this will be deducted (minus the £10 weekly disregard) pound for pound off your JSA.
You will still have to take part in New Deal.
Your LHA/ HB will be affected. The calculator at www.entitledto.co.uk will give an indication of how much you will be entitled to.Gone ... or have I?0 -
You do realize that if you sell that much on ebay each month you will be up for tax for earnings. It will be ebay you inform the tax as well as they have to. You will get a tax bill at the end of the year for any earnings which are classed as extra earnings or a second job. Not many people seem to know this. A friend ran a shop on ebay and had to register for tax but it applys to all sellers. They ignore the seller who sells odd bits now and then but selling £300 worth a month no they won't.0

in total you are allowed to earn £5000 before you start paying any tax0 -
are you sure of this. theres a big difference in selling and recieving £300 than making £300 profit after all charges/postage.

All self employed income (after expenses) must be declared to HMRC, even if below the personal allowance (much higher than £5000 now!).Gone ... or have I?0 -
Its not always £300. What I would be doing is buying of eBay and reselling the items. Am I still liable as I think its just like any other seller selling personal items. I.e stuff no longer needed as I am not buying stock of companys.0

Yes they will.
You say you are going to buy the stuff from Ebay, resell it on Ebay and hope to make £300 a month.
How does that work?
Have you thought this through. Do you realise how much the fees are?
I reckon you are going to be left with a house full of tat that you cannot sell and your fees will be more than your profit.0 -
