Boots pharmacist

Big thanks from me to the Boots pharmacist in Leeds yesterday.
Went to Leeds for the night yesterday for my friend's birthday. Was sharing a room with my other friend and we took a picnic to eat in the hotel room for our tea before we went out.
Well, went to start the picnic and discovered I hadn't taken any of my needles with me for my insulin. Uh-oh, not good. We'd driven for around an hour and 15 mins to get there so would be a nightmare having to go home again to get them. Obviously didn't have a prescription with me either.
The hotel receptioninst told us the nearest pharmacy was Boots so I walked round to see if I could buy some.
I explained my predicament to the pharmacist and he was an absolute love and just asked me how many I needed. I told him I only needed three before I'd be home again (they come in boxes of 100) and he opened a box and just gave me three out of it.
I am soooo grateful, would have ruined my weekend if I had to go home to get them, I don't even know how much they cost 'cos I've never had to buy them before. I told him he was a life-saver and my friend interjected 'Literally!', haha.
Lovely man. :T

:oJust thought, I hope he didn't break any rules, let me know if he did and I'll remove the identifying details! Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0

Not breaking the rules so much, but he might get in a bit of trouble for giving stock away for free
Perhaps remove the exact location of the pharmacy so his bosses don't give him a rollicking! Comping since 08 - Back again for 2020!0 -
Cheers Cookie, removed details that might get him into trouble! Are the words 'I have a cunning plan' marching with ill-deserved confidence in the direction of this conversation? :cool:0
