Apple - I Pod Success Story!

Well, further to my previous post "I-Pod Hardrive error" regarding my Dad's broken I-Pod and it's hardrive fault...we have success!
Thank you to all who replied. My Dad had a call from Apple (in Ireland - Not sure why they deal with the UK) who were disappointed he had been told by the store he took it back to that this was a "common fault" and there was nothing they could do to fix it. On receiving the e-mail they contacted him the next day to discuss him sending the I-Pod back so they could fix it, free of charge!:j

Quite common for international business to base their UK operations in Ireland. English speaking developed country, with more favourable tax laws!0
