Oh Im planning on doing a sweetie table

have started looking at places to get sweets, Im going to go for a retro theme I think

Also poke your head into the local charity shops as you can often find some lovely bowls in there as well as vases that you can fill with sweeties.0

luckily mine will be pink, white & silver so sounds like you have a task on your hands!!!
my only worry with the whole sweetie table is that kids will go crazy - fill up bags and bags and/or knock over the vases/bowls!!!

Wow love this idea!! Only thing is how would you limit the sweets so as that there is enough for everyone and the 'greedy' people lol dont eat them all or as a previous poster has said the children dont spill them or eat them all!?
How many varities of sweets were you all thinking of having?

Ladies - i have just got a bargin!
Just popped in to charity shop next to my work and got:
1 x large glass bowl
6 x medium glass bowls
1 x glass cake stand - gorgeous - very crystal!
all for the bargin price of £8.00
