I am in two minds whether to have a sweet table/candy bar. Our reception room isn't massive and we are having a choc fountain as well as quite a few desserts/cakes on the evening buffet and i dont want to go ott on goodies.
Although I know our guests will love this and they look fantastic.
Jars - Asda have some brilliant ones for this from £1 as well as ikea they have loads this, this, this, have seen some lovely dishes and cake stands etc.. in TK maxx.
Sweets, asda do some you'd be suprised at what if you looked, then i'd prob go to costco.
Can you tell i've been looking into it? lol0 -

No probs, if you search for ice scoops or flour scoops on ebay it will bring the silver scoops up too, and I have seen the metal tongs/tweezer thingys in tescos too for £2.
the jars look lovely with a bit of ribbon round the neck. I was thinking if i did one to limit it to my chosen colours, blue & white but taking a while to think/find blue sweets.0 -
Blue is a hard on actualy isnt it!
luckily mine will be pink, white & silver so sounds like you have a task on your hands!!!
my only worry with the whole sweetie table is that kids will go crazy - fill up bags and bags and/or knock over the vases/bowls!!!Hi, we’ve had to remove your signature. If you’re not sure why please read the forum rules or email the forum team if you’re still unsure - MSE Forum Team0 -

we;ve having them as centerpieces, kilners jars from Ikea and the sweet stall in the local market is doing us a deal on all the sweets. We got pick and mix style bags from ebay and are printing the names on them to use as place cards filled and taken away as favours.0
