Mrs MH, well done on getting baby into a routine and on losing weight! That’s great!

CyclingYorkie, hope your FIL is better soon

Valli, hope it goes well, knock em dead

Thanks Helen – could you remind me again after 11:30 and check tomorrow if I’ve done it? Thanks!

    I've:
    • moved DH's clothes mountain onto the bed,
    • tidied a pile of bags from in front of the armchairs,
    • moved out one armchair (the one I'd sorted out under a few weeks ago),
    • retidied all the stuff that had crept back under it,
    • hoovered the LR and kitchen,
    • put away dry washing up and
    • am now sitting down having a rest!

The gardening man is here, I really want to go and have a jug shower and clean the bathroom but we have no blind on our bathroom window and altho he's round the front at the mo he keeps popping round the back...I will wait a bit longer and see if he goes soon, hopefully he will go in time for me to have one before 11:30.

Not at all! :D I did it last year and they went down really well! The office staff really appreciated it as they don't get much at the end of term as the teachers are usually the ones getting the pressies!

Last year i also did all the teachers a 'home grown' box, consisting of -

    6 eggs from our hens
    3 courgettes
    a couple of carrots
    an onion
    and a couple of tomatoes

with an a4 peice of paper lining the bottom, with a list of everything in the box written on it, headed 'shola's home grown produce' or something like that, with a picture of some veggies and a chicken on it!

Haven't done that this year as i started the veg a bit late and the only thing ready is courgettes lol. oh, and a rather mis-shapen cucumber! :D

    Morning all

Ooooh excellent - Crabby Kitchen today. Just what I need as I'm hosting a clothes party tomoz and need downstairs looking sparkling :D

Thanks Toots for the lovely star last week for tackling my 2 x RofD. That was very sweet of you :A One of the rooms is completely done, the other is halfway there. Believe me, these were BIG jobs :D

Mummy of 5 and Helen Jelly - Many Congratulations to you both.
Soappie - Happy Birthday, hope you have a wonderful day.
    Good luck Valli.
Penguin 83 - My DD also attends a special school for MLD and has done since Year 5 (she's now in Year 8). Its the best thing thats ever happened to her after several miserable years in Mainstream getting absolutely nowhere. She is now a different girl - happy, confident and progressing well. Good luck to you and your DS.

Ok, really need to buckle down this week and get the house spotless. Its the last week of term and then we're off on hols this Sat, so lots to do before then.

    My 5 extras
    Complete Tax form
Buy & wrap gifts/cards for DD and teachers
Order Mr T for after hols
Return library books also return clothes to Mr T
Make list of stuff for hols

See you after some serious flying.....
    I need direction to perfection...
