Morning all. Hope all are well. I feel completely rubbish today.

No time to sit around feeling ill, have got to get on with tidying/cleaning so the window cleaners don't think I'm a right slob.

First job: tackle big pile of clothes on armchairs in front of the main window and pile of bags in front of the armchairs - the w.c.'s might need to move them out so they can get to the window

Please please can you all remind me to get a repeat prescription this week - I need to put it in today or tomorrow by the latest so I can pick it up on Friday, if I don't I will be in big trouble but have terrible problems remembering to get repeats in on time, thanks!

Haven't managed to read the whole thread but congrats and good luck where appropriate!

Signed up a couple of weeks ago - the FIL got rushed into hospital 200 miles away and life got a bit more complicated!

However he's now out and DH has gone down to stay/look after him this week. (No snoring!:rotfl:)

So at 9.39 on day 2 of being on my own:-
    2 washloads on line
    coats in WM - DH's and DS's
Washing up done and put away.
    bin emptied and cleaned.
11 bags/bins/boxes outside for kerbside recycling collection
2 bags full out for charity collection
OH's wardrobe sorted!!! - Suit jackets paired up with trousers. Trousers with holes in binned!
Tea in slow cooker (leftover lamb+gravy+stock+pots+carrots+onions)

Am contemplating seeing if I can get a skip and clear the garage!:j

I am back in again, after a few weeks of absolute madness (and thus the housework being more-or-less abandoned). Lots to do over the next few weeks, but I'm going to do my best to stick to the lists over that time too, as I know it will be better than having to deal with the mess all at the end of the summer when we have even more big events happening.

Soappie - have a wonderful birthday!

Toots - huge hugs from here - you are so strong, and I am so impressed by how you are dealing with this. I only wish there was something I could do for you. Take care, and remember how much we all care for you.

Hope everyone is ok and this beautiful sunshiny day (well it is here!) xx

I know I have a bigger to do list than that.......Im going to go round the house tonight and make a note of all the things I want to get done. Im getting on with general flying, not too badly - but Im not paying attention to some of the things I need to be doing.

For example - I bought my little one a spiderman light fitting for his room, MONTHS ago - and when it come to dusting and dewebbing, I do it - and clean the old light fitting!!!!! Why do I never change my list to say 'Put up the new one'???

There are millions of things I need to do and need to give myself a shake and get better organised!
