Watch battery waste of money

Poundland do a whole sheet of different sized batteries - 30 batteries in total from AG1 - AG13. My watch takes AG3s and I've changed it a couple of times - they may not last as long as the 'legit' makes, but they work out as pennies each. (and it's so handy having the other sizes for when electronic toys go phut!!)
Surely they work out at pennies each only if you use them all?
If you buy 30 batteries and only ever use one, then the use you get from that battery has cost you the total price of all 30.
Before you buy a pack of assorted batteries you should make sure you are going to use enough of them to make it worthwhile. Otherwise you'll end up with a bank money bag containing 25 batteries you will never use, just like me!0 -

As I said - find the nearest small child with electronic toys to get your money's worth!

As I know, digital watch always use AG11 cell batteries. If I were you, I will choose some battery as a replacement for money saving.0

One of the reason why I have a citizen eco watch with a metal bracelet. Runs off day light.
So you never need to change a battery or watch strap. Cost about £60 7 years ago and still going strong. Well was actually a wedding present from husband. It was bought about 2 years after we got married :rotfl:as I could not find what I wanted.

I get all my watch batteries from the local market, cost about £2 fitted and always last ages, the jewellers always give you that flannel about it not being waterproof, but it isn't like I'd wear a gold and leather dress watch to go swimming is it!?
Find they always last as long if not longer than when you get them from the jewellers. Only time i had one that didn't it went within a week and the guy replaced it for free no questions asked.0
